Would like to get some info on why light stays on, car starts and runs fine, I'm helping in the sale of the car for an estate and really would like to get that light out. Thank's Mark

Which lights are you talking about?

 

My 94 cadillac fleetwood brougham has the same issue. The interior lights do not shut off when all dores are closed, they stay on constantly. I took all 4 dores apart and disconnected all the harnesses and put the fuse back in and all the interior lights were still on. Anyone know the problem or what to look for? Also replaced the time delay relay and still no progress and also checked the headlight switch and that was fine as well. Any help? Thank you.

 

This should be a new thread, oh well, do you have FSM? You have a short; which can been anywhere. You will need wiring diagram as well and connector locations to isolate short. The other is to pull "A" pillar moulding, visors, map light, sail panel trim, ... looking for chaffed wire - most likely - white - in color. When you disconnected door harnesses - explain?
