Default RE: Purchasing a Used Escalde

A couple of items to check are the HOT oil pressure. The LS1 engines were built to tight specifications. At 100K you should still have 30+ lbs of pressure at idle. The tans is the week link if the car was used often for towing or drag racing. More than one Escalade has been turbo/supercharged and then put back to stock to sell. Drive slowly with the window down and listen for clunks when manuall shifting from 1 to 2 to 3. Also have the drive train independently inspected for excessive wear. Hope this helps.
