Level Lift Kit
Has anyone installed a level lift kit? I am considering doing this and welcome your opinions. I have an 08 Escalade and went to four wheel parts yesterday to price it out. It will cost approximately $634 for the part ($160) and installation. If I raise the front 1.5 inches will I have to do anything to the rear? I have the autoride suspension for the rear and the sales man said that I also have it on the front two wheels as well (that was news to me).

If truck isn't completely out of warranty (over 100k miles), then I would not do it - mods can effect warranties including non-factory - not in a good way. Air ride can raise rear the 2 inches you looking for. You need to modify sensor or mounting to get the height you want.
If you raise the front you will need to get the truck realigned because it will be off, personally I would drop the rear, you will get better handling vs raising the front end, it would be cheaper to drop the rear, and you will probably have less problems down the road. I have had 4 wheel/all wheel drive trucks since the late 70's, boy I am old.
