When I use my remote to lock my doors on my 99 Escalade-the alarm goes off periodically.If I lock it using the manual lock on door it doesn't do this.Has anyone had this problem?

 

Door jam switches located in sides of the dash could be the cause. Remote and power lock switches turns on alarm. Early production Escalades had shock sensor which could be the cause. It located in console, you just may need to disconnect it.
