I just bought a new 07 escalade ext and had a couple of questions on oil changes.
When do I do my first oil change?
How many miles before each oil change?
Synthetic or non synthetic?
How many quarts of oil?
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. I just signed up and this is my first post.

 

Your owners manual will address those questions and I suggest that you follow General Motors recommendations. In addition most Cadillacs have a driver information sytem that will alert you to when an oil change is required. This system hss been developed to take into account all of the variables that effect oil life.

 

206lac206.....1ST, BIG WELCOME to the FORUM!!!! you'll find great things here concerning your Cadillac, plus many other things to have fun with.....ie: OFF TOPIC. check it all out....look around.......imo...if you purchased you Escalade pre-ownedstart your oil changes now. for the $20 to $50 you'll know its up to standard, and go from there.....depending on your driving form, and conditions, every 2500, to 4000mi. i change mine every 2500, to 3000 mi no matter what....if you purchased new, then Katzmans gave you the poop......... synthetic, or non...your call..check FAC section for more info......again welcome to the FORUM,
