Default Blower Resistor Replacement Help!

I believe that the blower resistor has cashed it in on my 2005 Escalade. All of the typical symptoms. But, I pulled it and tried to buy a replacement but every one I find both at auto parts store and online have a 7 pin connector and mine only has a 3 pin connector.

I know GM recommends replacing the harness along with the resistor but I cannot find any procedure on how (or why) this needs to be done.

Anyone have any info on this problem.

Help, I live in Phoenix and it's hot here.

Default Nevermind - Figured it out

After a little more research I learned that models that have the Auto Climate Control do NOT use the the resistor pack but instead have the "ACDelco 15-80567 Control Module Kit" part #15-80567.

Found it at several locations, but wound up ordering from Amazon (free shipping) for $67.
