Default tweet tweet on belt side of engine PLEASE LOOK

Is it truly a bad idea to try a little belt dressing (like the old days) to get rid of the noise? I realize it could be more, but.......
It's that quick'/rapid "bird like" tweet tweet tweet sound. Seems a bit louder when coasting,a bit quieter when accelerating. At idle, it's the pleasant sound of sleigh bells in the distance, and/or much like the summer pond creatures at night.
ANY help appreciated! ('95 Eldo)

Wish I could help. In my old school ways. I sprayed WD-40 to make that sound go away. But, that can be a tale tale sign of a old belt, bearings going out, I wouldn't ignore the problem....I would fix...or atleast find the sourse and see if it needs attention now or later. lol
