JUST KICKED MY 96 ELDO OUT THE DRIVEWAY
AT 80,000 WATER PUMP WENT, 90,000 ENGINE BLEW, FRONT ROTORS, ONE COLD MORNING MY CARS COMPUTER THOUGHT IT WAS STOLEN AND I HAD TO REPLACE A COMPUTER AND GUESS WHAT ? THE COMPUTER IS IN THE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER AND HAD TO BE SHIPPED TO G.M. WITH THE IGNITIONKEY. POWER WINDOW SWICH DRIVER SIDE $80 AND THE LAST $ TOO, A.C. WENT OUT AT 145,000 MI AND THAT WAS THE BEST SUMMER EVER .I USED A GRINDER AND CUT THE ROOF CLEAN OFF !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HOWS THAT FOR A.C. CADILLAC? NOW I HAVE A 1968 ELDO MUCH BETTER AND SIMPLER.........ROOF CUT OFF IN PROGRESS
FORGOT TO SAY THAT THE SERVICE TRANS IDIOT LIGHT WENT ON AFTER I REPLACED THE MOTOR ,IT WAS SOME ENG-TRANS RPM SENSOR ( THE CAR THOUGHT THAT THE TRANS WAS SLIPPIN ,BUT IT SHIFTED TIGHT )THAT WAS BURRIED IN THE TRANNY $$$$$$ WONT PASS SMOG WITH LIGHT ON, HAD MY MECHANIC WIRE THE ENGINE RPM SENSOR TO THE TRANNY PASSED SMOG . I REALLY WANTED TO DRIVE THE CAR OFF A CLIFF.............
