Check Oil Light ?
Every time I start my 2000 Cadillac Eldorado ETC check oil light comes on. The oil level is fine.How do I reset it ? And I would like info on how to set other things such as my side mirrors tilting when I put the car in reverse. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you

"Check Oil" or "Change Oil"?
The "Change Oil" light can be re-set thru the instrument panel buttons. The "Check Oil" light, if it is full of oil, means there is either a problem with the oil level sensor(in the oil pan), or the wiring for the sensor has a problem.

Check The oil level sensor wiring after installing 2 new oil level sensors in
as told to do by 2 different shops.. while on lift at 2nd shop I found the problem myself over heated wire covering about 1 foot from sensor... works ok now after I repaired
