I traveled 1100 miles over two days. I had the car washed (drive through). The next day the 2007 would crank, but not start. The DIC read "engine power reduced" It was towed to GM dealer. The wire going to the ECM (main computer) was eaten by a mouse. No lie. The wire was replaced - no problem now. This car is generally used each day. Prior to the 1100 mile trip, it was in my garage unused for about a week. Mothballs are recommended for garaged vehicles. No kidding. Fortunately the electrical short waited until I reached my destination.
