Default clicking noise when accelerating

I have a 2007 DTS and when I accelerate there is a rapid clicking noise that gets louder the harder I accelerate. It's getting louder and now there is a slight vibration in the accelerator pedal that matches the speed and increased volume of the noise. Any thoughts on this problem will be greatly appreciated.

Could it be a bad tire? Noise and vibration could mean a busted belt.

Worn out or dry CV joint on one of the front drive axles. Turn the front tires full left look at left side CV boot for being torn?, then turn full right and do the same thing.

Maybe you are using regular 87 instead of 93 premium. When I purchased my dts 87 was in and it knock when I accelerate. So I decided to use 93 and it never knock again. Rule of thumb: make sure that the tread on the tire are at least 65%

On some 07-08 Cadillac DTS vehicles equipped with 4T80E MH1 transmission, a ticking/fluttering noise can be heard in the vehicle at highway speed. The noise is generated by the modulation of the TCC solenoid. Movement within the solenoid excites the shift cable, resulting in a low level, high frequency noise that can be heard in the passenger compartment. To correct the condition, some dealers have installed a solid lead clamp mass damper to the cable which has eitherreduced or eliminate the noise."
