Almost a DTS owner
Hello,
I have been a truck guy for most my adult life, I have had cars as secondary vehicle's but primarily drove pickups. I just sold my 03 f-350 and am looking at usedDTS's. I been combing the dealer lots andwatching the Trading Times. There are quite a few available. I think a 05 or 06 will be what I end up with. They seem to be a great value and a good family car. I have a wife and two small kids so I need the room of a full size car. I am also 6'5' so the bigger the better.
Do you guys have any suggestions on what to look out for when buying a used DTS? Are there problems with certian options I should be steer away from?
Thanks

RE: Almost a DTS owner
As in any used car, I would have my mechanic check it out, codes.coolant, frame, etc.etc. Check out our faq for more info. If car is still under warranty then no worries mate. The car is a sweet ride you and your family will enjoy.

I have an 06 DTS. Purchased as a Caddy Certified from a GM Dlr. The car has been problem free the past year except for a faluty O2 sensor which was replaced last fall.
The ride is terrific and the milage is not bad. 19.2 city 28.3 hwy.
