It seems my a/c compressor has a mind of its own. Freon is perfect so now it's not that. Played with small relay and thought it was the issue but if so, it is inconsistent relative to the compressor coming on. I have placed the controls in every setting imaginable to see if something there will trigger the clutch but to no avail. When it does engage, air blows ice cold. It may run for hours on a trip and then when restarting the car, no compressor...and then it may decide to engage.

Is there a self diagnostic feature on this car that may reveal something? And if yes, how does that work.
