Just purchased this gem last week for 3,500.00. Has 93,000 miles. Mint condition until I decided to bring it to a shop for a once over and an oil change. I have an apparent transmission leak. So I'm bringing it to a transmission shop on Wednesday,my day off, to hopefully find out its a simple fix. My question is,do I check the fluid cold? I checked it and it was dry as a bone. Nervous now. Should I run it for 5minutes at idle then check it or should I just add fluid so I don't cause any further damage..
