turn signal

RE: turn signal
You say that the turn signals don't work, but do you mean that they don't light at all, or do they light but stay on and not flash? If they come on but don't 'flash' it could be the flasher, since there are 2 of them. 1 for the turn signals and 1 for the 'hazard' lights. If they don't come on at all , it could be a fuse since they both have their own fuses. I believe the
'hazard' light fuse is in the engine compartment fuse panel, and the turn signal fuse is in the
trunk fuse panel, and the flashers should be located somewhere near the steering column, but you will have to remove the trim panel under the column to find them. I am just basing this
on the location(s) on my 97 Eldo. If it is different onthe 96 Deville, than hopefully someone
else will correct me on this. Hope this helps.
