Default Trunk release problem

I have a 1998 Cadillac Deville and the remote trunk release doesn’t work either by the key fob or the dash button I have made sure the valet switch is in the correct position. the pull down motor works ok. All fuses seem to be ok. My suspicion is that there is a relay that must function in order for the trunk to operate normally. My problem is the location of that relay, any hel will be appreciated

I have a 99 DeVille and the wiring can be sketchy sometimes. I remember trying to track down a bunch of different technical info packages for this car for a school project a few years back. Let me see if I can find any that have the info you need. I remember seeing wiring diagrams somewhere...
