Default Traction Control

96 Sedan Deville,
When I activate the traction control by way of the button switch it displays on the panel and will not go out unless I press information or reset, the system does work ok I have tested it. It use to stay on for maybe 5 sec. then go out. Any thoughts??????

Default RE: Traction Control

It is my understanding from my two Cadillacs that when you press the button you are switching the traction control off and the light glows to tell you that, so from that point of view I think it is working properly.

I don't have a 1996 owner's manual to be able to say 100% but I don't think it is a problem.
