Default Tire pressure 95 DeVille

Why they keep it a secret I'll never know?

The in car manual doesn't give it, my Haynes manual doesn't give it and the sticker is gone from the door. What the heck is the recommended front / rear tire pressure for a 95 De Ville?

My Jaguar manual gives recommended, recommended for over 120 MPH / pressure for softer ride, etc. But the De Ville manual gives nothing.

What size tires are on your car and what brand are they? The tire pressure should be on side of the tire.

If not run 32-35 psi until you respond with size. I was a Tire salesman for 10 years.

Thanks for the reply.

Yes, tires have pressure ratings on their sidewalls but that isn't what the car manufacturer recommends. Maybe I'll need to to to see if my AlData account is open.

They are Micheline Energy LX4.

Tires are kind of one of my little, stand up and shout about things. Like when the oil change store asks to put air in your tire, after you've driven on them all day, they were only sitting for 20 minutes while the oil was changed. So what they are doing is checking the tire pressure of a hot tire. That isn't exactly according to Hoyle.

The Car Manufacturer is not going to offer a tire pressure rating for each brand tire unless the original tires came on the car. Certain tires have different ratings therefore different pressures are a must. For the best ride and handling it will be best to go with the tire manufacturers suggested pressure. In 1995 no cadillac tire pressure was above 40 psi. The more psi the worse the ride, and handling. A trust worthy tire dealer will not sell you a tire that is not reccommended for your car, at that point he will put the suggested tire pressure for the tire in your car.

Hope this gives you a little more insigt.
