Default !998 Cadillac Deville Swaying

I am a new member and purchased a 1998 Deville last September before going to Arizona for the winter months. The car has Goodyear eagles on it and sways very badly when driving on fairly uneven road. Someone indicated to me that Cadillac had a problem with Goodyear tires on this Model and year. I would like to confirm this so I can correct the problem. Aside of this I really like the car.

If your car is swaying and leaning far too much when you're cornering, it's most likely not your tires that are causing it. Have the shocks ever been changed on that car? If not, it's about the right time. You may also have worn out suspension components, but I'd attack the shocks first. Does the seem to take a little longer to settle out of bumps? Shocks aren't too expensive. Have a mechanic test drive it.
