Partial Power Steering Loss - 1999 Deville
Hello Group:
I have a 1999 Cadillac Deville that has a partial power steering loss
I can drive the car; however, the smoothness and ease of turning is now gone and the steering is more like a conventional car rather than a Cadillac. I went from being able to turn it with my pinky finger to requiring 1 - 2 hands with moderate effort which is a stark difference. I did not lose all the power steering or I am sure I would not be able to turn it much at all which is not the case.
There are no noises associated and it happens all the time regarless of speed or direction of turn.
Can anyone provide some insight on how to fix or what the root problem(s) might be?
Thanks in advance all!
