Coolant temp would rise to 220 when I was in stop and go traffic. This didn't seen right so I checked the water pump belt and WA-LA, it's a wonder it was there at all. Hard as a brick and shreading. Replaced it, and no matter what, it never goes higher than 203.

 

Good catch, but up to 225 would be considered normal ina Northstar. 203 is much better though!
