Default Help out a noob, please.

I tried to use the search feature....can never get 'em to work. I may be old, but I hate the digital guage cluster in my '03 DeVille....Can anyone just simply tell me if I can plug in the "analog" digital cluster from a DHS or DTS?

my guess is maybe.

often we can swap electronics between same year models but
as soon as the BCM changes in a model, so do a bunch
misc electronics.

as you, i cant stand the digitals. analog is it for me.

just to give you an example of the "maybe", on the Allante, look what they did - it took 4 years of
data collection and search to come up with this paragraph:

CLUSTER, compatibility - The analog and digital clusters for 1993 fit 1993 ONLY. The analog and digital clusters for 1990 through 1992 fit ‘90-‘92 ONLY. 1987 digital cluster will fit 1987 through 1989. ‘88/’89 digital clusters will fit ‘87 through ‘89. The ‘88/’89 analog clusters will fit ‘87 through ‘89. Nothing is backward or forward compatible outside of these groupings.

Sorry, it's not that simple.
The IPC needs to be programmed to your car, and if you use a different part there is a good change other modules won't recognize it.

I'm sure there is a way to make it work, but without a flash programmer i think you'll be dead in the water.
