Default head problems????

how would i know if i have a bad head. i was told if there was moisture or white smoke coming out of the exhaust then there could be a sign. but i have neither. also if there was water in the oil. there is no water in the oil. the car just keeps running hot? new t-stat, new water pump and housing and hose. could it be a cheap t-stat? what other signs should i look for to knoe if i have a bad head.

Default RE: head problems????

Are you famliar with troubleshooting an overheating problem on a computer controled car?
If so, what steps have you taken so far and with what results?
If not, i don't recommend a northstar as a first timers doityourself job.
JMHO.

As i posted to you before, the more you tell us the better chance of getting good advice.
