If you hit the information button on your dash, various readings will come across the screen under the speedo. Engine temp, amount of fuel used, rpm, etc. Car should be staying under 225. If your exhaust smells sweet, its burning coolant, and you have a bad head gasket.

It wasn't the exhaust that was smelling sweet it's when you take the cap off the radiator it smells sweet.

Thats definetly an issue. Check your owners manuel, those things should definetly be on that display. Could be your display maybe bad. I'd take it to a shop and have them check it out.,
