Coolant Leak

Coolant Leak
Seems like I sure have a lot of questions for you all, but I have a coolant leak and it appears to come from the top of the radiator on the passenger side of the car. I have added Dex-cool antifreeze in a 50/50 solution. I also noticed that on the car it says something about adding a sealant pellets when changing antifreeze. Also in searching on the internet, I have found where you can use Bar's Leak stop in place of the tablets. I also read where the reason for the sealant pellets is because of how the metal expands in the cooling system and these pellets are needed to seal the cooling system. So my question is, should I try the Bar's leak stop stuff to try to stop the leak? The leak is definitely not coming from the the engine. Any suggestions.
Thanks all.
Thanks all.

RE: Coolant Leak
It's probably the 'plastic' tank on the radiator. Mine cracked just about even with the water hose connection point. My radiator shop said that this craking is very common; is because the hot water returns to the radiator on the passenger side..

RE: Coolant Leak
Don't use bars leak stop leak at all. Go to your nearest GM dealer and get the Bars Leak Supplemental tablets. Stop leak is meant to be an emergency temporary fix; the leak will come back after a while, and when it does you'll have to flush out all that gunk that the stop leak left behind.
