AC clutch won't cycle
Hi everyone!
I have a 1995 DeVille. When I bought it the AC wasn't working so I checked the relay. The relay for the AC compressor was missing. So I ordered a new one, and it started to cycle and make cold air. Then I noticed the compressor kicking in when the climate control was turned off. I've watched it, and the clutch is engaged all the time. What would cause this, and is it safe to operate with the clutch engaged constantly? Ive checked the other relays, and wires, coming from the relay box and I found the fuel pump relay, with some kind of wire on it, and another wire spliced. Could that be the cause? Thanks in advance
Spliced wiring.
