Who has a Front Bug Bra or knows of someone who sells these for the 2007 Cadillac DTS vehicles. Any and all replies would be appreciated. Thanks

If you find out let me know - I've checked all over for my new '06 DTS and no luck. I drive to the desert often and there's a stretch of freeway subject to high winds. If I don't find one soon my front end will be sandblasted.

In the meantime, 3M makes a product in a clear liquid form that helps but it needs to be applied by a dealer or detailer pro. Another suggestion that somebody gave me is to wrap the front end w/ clear, thick, commercial gradesaran wrap from the butcher - absurd & primitive but it works 'til I find a bra.

Also looking for mirror covers. Might end up at an upholstery shop to have them custom made.

check with california car covers. I know they made great car covers that fit like a glove. Lots of allante owners have them. I haven't rec'd a catalog lately but I believe they had bras also, along with other items. Worth checking in to. If I was mistaken about the bras, I apologize in advance.

Me again ... I've checked w/ Calif Car Covers and they only have DTS bras for '05 and older - nothing for the new models '06 & '07. Got a response though from Ryan Bateman at Autoanything.com to check back w/ them in 60 - 90 days and they may have something for us. Go to their website, www.Autoanything.com and tell him what you need - the more requests that they get, the more likely that they will make the product for us.

I realize why the desire to have the bra but just saying my experience with these covers is not very good. You need to be sure that the cover does not upset the airflow to the engine compartment or otherwise impede cooling for the engine and transmission. This may be an issue as you say you drive the desert.

I had one that sufficiently distubed air flow so that my transmission would overheat on long highway runs. It was very odd but I finally put two and two together and stopped using it and never had the problem again.I believe it was the combination of mesh covering openings and air deflection down under the car that created this problem.
