I have a 1998 deville with 47k miles. The car stalls intermittently in stop/go traffic and when stopped at lights when foot is on brake. It will run fine for a time and then it will stall. It starts up right away with no problems. I have cleaned the throttle body,changed the idle control motor/valve,and new plugs and wires were installed. The dealer wants to put new coils and a module in for $1200. any ideas?

I would look more towars a fuel pressure issue there, maybe the fuel pump is cutting out. try checking your connections to/on your fuel pump. It may fix it and it wont cost $1200.
