Hey wasup. So heres the deal i wanna disable the factory alarm in my 96 deville and put a aftermarket alarm in. Only thing is i dont got the cash right now to get the new alarm. Is there a way i can disable the factory alarm and still drive till i gather up the cash. Only reason i want to disable it now is because one day my battery died so i gotta jump. When i did that the alarm went off and wont go off. I tried opening the door with the key and even drove home with the alarm on lol. Any suggestions? Any help is appreciated thanks.

 

The alarm arms with p/lock switch. It should disarm with p/lock switch, door key, or remote if present. Security light is an indicator if alarm is armed it will blink if disarmed and stay solid then go out after about 15 sec. IDK to permanent disable it. don't p/lock switches.
