Default 1990 Sedan Deville

Hello to All,

I am now the proud (2nd) owner of a 1990 Cadillac Sedan Deville. Well maintained and 31,000 orig miles. It sat for a little bit. Has a very slight miss at idle and a minor rythmatic wheel/tire vibration ( poss front driver side), plus only one speaker works. So I guess I have some work cut out for me. Can anyone or some give me the "411" as to the nature of the beast per say. What to look out for, what not to do, what to be sure to do etc......

Thanks in advance and Seasons Blessings to Everyone and All,
JAS

Buy factory service manual - ebay, used manual vender, or occasionally from dealer. Their are several sources on the web state they have on a disc.I have no experence with them, I doubt GM sold the copyrights though. 4.1-4.9L tend to have slightly rough ilde. With so few miles you may have carbon build up, search treads info to deal with it is out there. Vibration: rotate and balance tires. May correct or move concern to rear indicating tire concern. If tires are dry rotted you may want to replace them any way. Speakers check balance and fader controls. Does car have original radio and which one is it. Being you just got car, look and see if speakers are there. Check connections at radio and speakers

Are you sure it is not 131K. My 84 has 48K original and only needed new plugs, wires, cap, and a fuel pump and filter but it was cause they where the original from the factory.
