Default 1976 Cadilalc Deville convertible - what should be the sale price

im lookin to sell my cadillac and i need some ideas on how much i should ask for because i checked out the blue book value on some site and none of them will show any year past 1980.

so here is the car. its a 1976 sedan deville it has the 500 v8 enginethe car has 29,588 miles( the original miles) its rag top is crappy, old interior with aso pretty much the car was barely drivin and for many years the car sat dormat so imagine how it would be. once i bought the new batterie it turned over after a couple tries and was great after that. it didnt pass smog or does that seem obvious. WHAT IS A GOOD ASKING PRICE?

The low milage is a good thing, but could be the second time around, by the sounds of all the work required to bring her back to snuff I would say 2000.00-3000.00.

Never saw 76 DeVille convertible, sounds like a custom built. I put it on ebay 2500.00 starting bid and see where it goes.If it's not a rust bucket, it's like likely worth keeping and fixing up. A 76 DeVille with the top down would be a real attension getter. SMOG ?; I'm sure there is a waiver for a 30 yr. old classic car.

slowroll has a point. but ...

California has continued to bully all automobile enthusiasts into giving up their chosen sport. In recent news, AB 616 was passed, forcing all cars 15+ years old to participate in annual smog checks, as opposed to biennial checks. This will be in effect mid-2008. The costs will remain the same. The "extra funds generated" are being used to crush old cars. California is hounding cars made between 1976 and 1993.

If you believe in making things fair again for car enthusiasts, sign this petition to bring back the rolling 30 year smog exemption.

For more information regarding AB 616, follow the SEMA link on the right.
