I recently bought a 2004 Cadillac CTS with XM Radio. It has the XM Radio antenna and stated on the window stick that XM Radio was factory installed. However, when I flip though the selections [AM/FM1/FM2/XM1/XM2] XM does not show up. Someone said that it may be the RDM will need to be replaced. Has anyone else had a problem with there XM Radio?

 

I would think an account needs to be setup with XM before it will "work".

 

XM has a serial number to identify your specific car. should be printed somewhere in your owners manual pack. My add on XM unit will display this number in the menu screen. I would think XM should display something. What does your audio section in the owners manual say? If no manual, borrow one and read up.
