Default Reprogramming remote unlocking?

Hi,
I´m from Germany and own a 2003 CTS 2.6 (no typo, it´s the same engine as the 3.2 but with smaller displacement due to higher gas prices in Germany). I was wondering whether I can reprogram the remote since I have to press the button twice to unlock all doors.
I also have a 2000 Chrysler Neon and it was possible to do that byturning the ignition key on/off and pressing the button at the driver´s door. Now I can open all Neon doors by pressing the remote only once.

Is there anything similar I can do with the CTS? There is no hint in the manual.

owner's manual should provide answer with step by step, if it can be done at all.

So it seems to be impossible to do that, because I did not find anything in the manual regarding the reprogramming.
Just another question, you might laugh about: What is that bulb in the center of the dash behind the windshield for? During our vacations in the U.S. we have had Pontiac G6 as rental cars with the same thing in the dash. In Germany my CTS is supposed to be the only vehicle with that, never seen other cars with that thing.

Can not find any info to change operation of unlock function of RKE. P/lock operation is controlled the RIM thru the data lines and the door module in each door. I beleive the intention of the "drivers door unlock only" is personal safety.

Sorry, the remotes are only programmed to be like this
unlock drivers door one push
unlock all doors two pushes Gm does this on all there cars.
As for the bulb in the dash, well it is not a bulb. It is an ambient light sensor that monitors light, sun angle.. Believe it or not the sensor is wired to the auto light feature which some European cars do not have. Also the a/c system uses the ambient light data for adjusting the cabin temp. Hope you like the car

Definitely! It´s got smooth ride and is loaded with a lot of stuff. The 2.6 delivers 181 hp (177 Lb.ft.) in combination with the Getrag 5-speed MTX. Sounds rather weak and doesn´t make my CTS a Lightning McQueen yet it´s sufficient enough to let me run 238 km/h (148 mph) on the Autobahn (then comes the speed governor). Average fuel efficiency is 23 mpg.
If you like you can see here a gallery of my cars: http://www.go-stirl.de/cts_galerie.html
