My radio ony 2008 ,cts is making popping noises through the speakers what is the cause or a temporary fix until I can get it fixed it even dies it when the car is off and key isn't in the ignition

 

I had an issue like this, where out-of-nowhere, my speakers starting crackling. Eventually, my speakers made no noise whatsoever. I bought a replacement amplifier, and that worked.

 

That happened to me twice usually after I put a heavy load in the trunk. I think it was temporary shorting something out both times it randomly fixed itself and it hasn’t occurred cents but when it happened the first time I assumed it was the amplifier since if you turn up the sound very loud you can hear the sound but you start popping noises.
