Radar detector install; wire to mirror?

I have a new CTS and would like to wire in my radar detector via the mirror; have any of you done this? Directions/photos would be appreciated. Thanks

if you mean grabbing a hot wire coming from of the rear view mirror..... i wouldn't. i think it should have its own hot with inline fuse and go directly to the fuse box.
