What is the name of that big plastic part that is under the engine bay? Its some kind of sheild and I need one for my 05 cts.

I think you might be referring to an engine cover. You should be able to get this from your dealer or you can check GM Parts Direct: Your direct source for Genuine GM Parts as well to try and find this part for your vehicle. I hope that helps!

In my 2005 Service Manual is is referred to as "Intake Manifold Sight Shield". But most every one calls in the engine cover.
