Default Help pricing new CTS

I am new to this forum and know nada about Cadillacs. A co-worker (female) wants to get a CTS and her husband is the type to go to the dealer and just buy without researching. How much ballpark should a '09 cts cost and what options are worthwhile? She was quoted $44,750 and $605/month for 6 years by a local dealer and her Husband is ready to buy it. It's an '09 3.6L-V6 AWD probably loaded.I suspect they're being taken and that in this economy A CTS can be had for a lot less. Thanks!

Just got a letter today from GM offering 1,000 off on top of all other discounts and incentives. Talk to the dealer, I think you may do better.
