Hi All:

I have a 2005 CTS-V. For about a year now I have had a strange noise coming from the center of the dash. It can best be described as parts rubbing together, it really sounds like there are gremlins moving things around.

If I lift the hood with the engine running the noise is not audible. It has nothing to do with the AC or sound/navigation systems.

It happens mostly at idle and low speeds and stops once I get up to 20-30 MPH. Cadillac had mentioned fuel pump but that seems strange to me.

Another CTS-V peculiarity that is driving me crazy. I would really appreciate anyone's thoughts.
