Default Considering a CTS-V

Hello everyone. I just joined and was looking for some of your thoughts.

I currently have an 04 C230SS Benz, but would like to possibly get into a CTS-V or hold out for the "Super-V" if/when it becomes a reality. I called one dealer in South Florida and got a lease quote of around $800 for a 36 month/12K mile (nothing down). I had been hoping to get a better deal on one than that. From what I have seen on CarDirect, etc., they seem to be selling below MSRP. What have you all heard regarding lease deals? (I like to lease because it forces me to keep the car for atleast 3-years, which I tend not to do if I buy).

Also, how happy is everyone with their CTS-Vs? I have heard about some half-shaft issues, but how about overall quality, responsiveness to mild modding, etc. I did a search, but was hoping to get some current info. Any help you can provide would be much appreciated.

Thanks again,

Ryan
