Default change the transmission fluid
How do you tell when you need to change the transmission fluid in a 2003 Cadillac CTS?

the question is how do YOU (me) tell .....

any one of the following:

by the service schedule in owners manual,
after racing the car,
after long distance towing,
when it hits 50,000 miles.

Does the 03 have the transmission fluid life available in the "INFO" section of the DIC, like the engine oil life? My car has that feature, but its an 05 with NAV.

On mine sais 100% Trans. Oil life all the time. Never changes. I also have GPS unit in it.

Hmmm. If you don't know when ( or if) it's been changed, I'd change it now and then on a mileage basis. I agree with Stealth's recommendations.
