I am currently in the process of purchasing this sport package 2003 CTS. One thing that worries me is the the service stability system comes on randomly apparently intermittant according to the dealer which tells me you just clear it from the DIC and ignore. Is it normal to simply ignore it or should I think that there is something bigger?

Can any codes be picked up using an OBD reader? Or some other way to pick up any codes for this problem? Tried to do a quick search but I didn't find an answer to my question.
