4 way flashers and inoperable power windows
The victim is a 06 CTS, I bought it dirt cheap because it hit a bear and the ins co. Totaled it because it needed a hood and latch.
it starts and runs and drives. It needed new rear hubs, pads and rotors all around and a new ignition switch. So after I replaced everything I connect the battery and the hazard flashers are on and won't turn off and the service security system is displayed. It still starts and runs great.
Also the power windows don't work, I checked the electrical connection behind the pass seat under the carpet and it was soaked in water. I checked for power to the master switch and there is 12v present. Changed out the master switch with a known good unit and still no windows.
Let the answers begin.

Well the power windows turned out to be the driver's side door module, as far as the hazard flashers they went off on there own. Also my security system needs service message is now gone. Now I just need to put a new differential bushing in.
