I took my 2017 CTS 3.6 Luxury in to the dealer due to faulty thermostat.

The service advisor told me it is due for oil replacement on the Limited Slip Differential at 45000 miles. I said "I don't think it has a limited slip differential since it is not a V-Sport or CTS-V." He looked up my VIN and said it does have a limited slip differential. The service adviser even told me later he checked with the service manager who spun the rear wheels on a lift and confirmed it has a limited slip differential.

I have the build sheet. If there is a code that indicates a limited slip differential (or not) I would like to know.

The question is: does my 2017 CTS Luxury 3.6 have a limited slip differential?
