2017 CTS 2.0 LTG Fuel milage
Hello every one I know there must be an area devoted to fuel milage somewhere here but, I will repost there as well later.
while driving to North florida fro our Tampa bay area this weekend we got 40.3 MPG in this vehicle. We were droving rather quickly too as flow on I75 seldom gets below 70. so I would say our average speed was about 76-80 MPH. so previously our highs at that sort of speed were more like 35-37. BIG difference and I do not think we we even driving that fast at those other times. That was when the car was new (less than a thousand miles) now it is broken in? We now have over 15,000 miles on her. We have had the transmission worked on due to the Shudder Stutter issue common in these cars. I wonder if the heavier fluid and transmission reprogram could have had that much of a positive effect on this lovely ride. The transmission took about a hundred miles or so to get to the new settings and is back to Cadillac smooth like new.
Any thoughts?
