My wife's car is a red 2009 Cadillac CTS Performance, 4 door, red with beige interior. I don't know how many interior colors were offered, but I bet the lion's share were beige.

Anyway, the door handle, part of the armrest where you pull the door shut, has broken. You have to be very careful closing the door. Driver's front, of course.

I have an extended bumper-to-bumper warranty, but this is not included because it's trim. Geez . . . Regardless, the Cadillac dealer says I need a complete door panel and they're no longer made. I've checked on eBay; they have panels but not for the driver's door.

It's hard to believe these are unavailable. How many years did they build this car, essentially the same? Has anyone tried to repair one of these? I don't even know how to remove it. Open to comments.
