I have a 2007 CTS with 2.8 liter V6 5 speed Strasbourg France hydramatic 5 speed auto trans. Car will not turn over and Tech 2 is reporting that Trans gear command always being requested 5 speed. Linkage correct position. Trans is going into park and neutral. No other DTCs set than Service brake assist. Also ignition interlock switch will not return key without manual override? Likely related? I assume so. Do these vehicles retain a memory in PCM saying hat gear they were in. Clueless newb here.

 

The trans connector on the passenger side had came apart. All is fine thanks for everyone who read this.
