INTRO - Cadillac BLS
The Cadillac BLS is a compact executive car designed specifically for the European market by Cadillac .
The car is based on GM's Epsilon architecture and is built in the same plant in Trollhättan, Sweden that builds the Saab 9-3 and the Saab 9-5.
Sales began on March 2006, with a station wagon joining the line for 2007. The BLS starts at approximately € 19,000 (roughly US$25,000).
Though originally designed for the European market, the BLS was introduced to the Arabian, Mexican, South African, and South Korean markets for the 2007 model year.
Features A range of engines are available in the BLS, including two diesel engines, a 1.9L turbocharged four-cylinder and a 2.8L turbocharged V6. At 184.3 inches in overall length, the BLS is almost six inches shorter than the CTS, the smallest Cadillac available in the United States.

Hmm well i have some stuff to say about thatBLS.
Idont see it as a cadiillac. Its a hyped saab with smother handling and more comfort.
They do have a problem . It is to get the car sold .
Was aiming at 20 000 then half 10 000 . end i guess it have been sold in 6000 something.
Problem is the brand vs the car.
Cadillac in scandinavia is BIG powerfull landboats in many eyes.
(I have even have a dude that jumped on me called my 92 STS for a lousyrebuild saab.) Did toke a while to explain that it wasent.
But for me its nice becuse i like the old cadillacs in FULL SIZE mode most of all
Well the BLS is a reworked saab 9-3.
And some rumors i have heard is US customers like these car very much. But trade rules make it impossible to sell in US. I guess it was both GM and US trade stuff that made it halt to import.
Not made in USA etc etc cant sold here wrong market . Made in wrong country , and so on.
