Im getting a p028 code and it says something about 3rd and 4th gear solenoid has open or shorted circuit.Is this a tough fix?Im pretty mechanical and do alot of my own stuff but since it is tranny related I thought Id ask someone who has dealt with it before.Any help I appreciate greatly.

 

What I meant was,can I fix this myself or is this a difficult repair?I hope its just a matter of changing an easy to get to part.

 

Did you figure out what it was? I don't think the older guys that know a lot about these cars get on this site much.
