I am looking at buying an Allante. I've done some research but looking for advice. Which year (all things considered) is the best year to buy. I've seen prices advertised from the sublime to the rediculas. Ranges from 3500 to 29,999. Looking for advice on which year to buy especially mechanical reliability

You will get 50 million opinions on this matter. I am partial to the Phase II (1992 model year in particular). It has engineering improvements over the earlier years, the 4.5L engine, the more rigid Recaro seats and does not have the North* engine.

 

I guess my thought is to get all the advice I can, sort through it and decide which to buy. Thank you for your thoughts.
