Default Is there a rotor for the 2003 DTS/Deville that doesn't warp?

I'm tired of continually having to deal with warped pulsating rotors on my 2003 DTS with very low mileage - 28K. My 2000 GMC truck has never had pulsations.

Is there a fix for this or has GM relegated every Caddy owner to accept mediocrity and a pulsating brake pedal? Are there any after market rotors available that will last 40K without warping - real life experience only please?

I care more about real performance and lasting stability than cost. Rotor warping is more about lack of iron and mass than anything aside from cheap imported iron. THANKS!!!

Default Its not just the Caddys

Every GM I have owned from GT's, Corvettes or Family Sedans have warped rotors. I do not abuse the brakes or overheat them. And they still fail. I had 3 sets replaced on a G6 Convertible GT in the first year I owed it. And my wife drove it most of the time.

I asked for help about the rotor problem on this forum (and in the Deville one) before and sadly as is the trend I'm seeing no one had an opinion.

So Surfer Tom as a parting reply, here is what I did and so far so good. I went with the EBC slotted black performance rotors and performance pads on all four corners. Once they were broken in they have performed very well. My Deville stops like its a smaller car. Good Luck.

BTW I'm sure my SRX will warp its rotors sooner or later and I will run EBC's on it too.

aside type of use, cargo loads, proper pad installation, unnecessary or poor machining/turning, clean brake fluid, and lube, the type of pads can make a big difference on warping rotors .. what type of pads are you using?

I installed Brembo slotted in the front and Brembo solids on the rear. Hawk ceramic pads. I got about 10k on them so far and no issues. Smooth as silk braking.
